Auschwitz, Sarajevo, Beograd, Ypres, Free town……
I’d like to know negative mind of human beings. Every man has good and bad heart. Almost human has seed of madness. But if we don’t conscious of it, that seed might be grow up at darkness of our mind.
In Free town of Sierra Leon which had misery civil war since 1991 until 2002, I interviewed the tragedy of it to people.

When he was 3 years old, he heard shot. His grand mum was killed and as for him, both body sides and right arm ware shot. He was saved but lost his arm.
Do you have a grudge toward to the person who shot you and the person who caused war ?
“No, I haven’t. I can forgive them, however I can’t forget war. I have a symbol of the war on my right arm.”

When she was 2 years old, a lot of people in her village ware caught by RUF(rebel army). The people ware cut their arms or legs by hatchet. She was also cut her right arms from shoulder.
Do you have a grudge ?
“Sure. Because I have no right arm, so I have a lot of things which I can’t do it.If I meet a man who cut my arm ? I will kill him”
What do you think that why war happens ?
“Humans greediness and selfish”

The front of her, her father was killed. She couldn’t stop to cry. Some of rebel army(RUF) pressed down her and put the plastic which burns in her eyes. She lost her sky.
Do you remember about that war ?
“Every time. I need the help of people every time.”
What is the important to keep peace ?
“……At least, no killing people and no destroying”
[The case of Antonietta Isatu Kamara – 26 years old]
When she was 9 years old, they escaped from RUF. But unfortunately, they ware caught by RUF. One of rebel army told her”come here” and asked. “Which do you like short cut or long cut of your arm ?” She answered “Please short”. She lost her arm from near elbow.
Sometimes do you remember that time ?
“Yes. No, I don’t afraid it, but I afraid of only the possibility of war. I hate it”
What is important for peace ?
“Next god, the leader is important. And political party. We must ascertain political party which make a peace or war”
Please tell me your dream ?
“rich man ! And I want to save poor people”
Because the war is born in a human heart, so we must construct a fort of the peace in a heart.( above sentence of the UNESCO charter)
I must know the darkness of my mind, seed of the madness and the place of fort for peace in my heart.
